Review - Jurassic World: Dominion (2022)

Jurassic World's Dominion is the most disappointing film I've ever experienced, even though I've seen numerous poor films as a critic. The Jurassic World's sixth and third Jurassic Park pictures failed to match their hype. It was evident from the beginning that the film would not be a success.

In Jurassic World: Dominion, the intriguing idea is that dinosaurs, an unwelcome species, will soon dominate the earth. The film doesn't pursue the bold notion of expanding the world rather, it restricts the dinosaurs to a tiny park. It's just one of the many disappointed moments in film.

One of the biggest problem is that it is short of the standards it set for itself Jurassic World: Dominion. Fans were promised a satisfying ending to Jurassic World, as well as significant improvements. The film was advertised as the final installment in the trilogy. A lot of viewers were disappointed and disillusioned because the film was not up to the high standards established by its marketing.

Jurassic World's Dominion is a boring and complex storyline that makes no sense. It's because it attempts to bring together all the characters from the earlier films. The story is told poorly and in a way that is unorthodox, with historical figures reduced to nothing. This is a huge hole in the story's narrative. (blog post) The running time of the film is so long, that you will be left wondering what all the fuss was about when the titles begin.

Jurassic World - Dominion attempts to synchronize two plotlines unrelated to keep the audience interested however, it fails spectacularly. While it's obvious that the plot is there however, the film fails to even acknowledge it and makes viewers wonder what it meant.

Although Jurassic World III may have been a step up from Jurassic World III in some ways, Jurassic World III still gets little acclaim. Due to the series' lack of track record in delivering compelling narratives, it's likely to be among the most ineffective. Jurassic World's Dominion is a waste of time and a unnecessary waste of time. It's a letdown for both old and new fans of the series, and an obvious indication that the Jurassic Park movies should have been put on hold years ago.

If you don't like Jurassic Park films, then you're free to skip this one. You should instead go back to the first Jurassic Park movie again. The movie is widely believed to be the best.
